although I don't have one believe there is a variety with surcharge missing in a block of four.Start of extended period of plate errors as opposed to tagging errors which seem to be mostly misperfed stamps.

Does anyone has a picture to post showing the misplaced surcharge? I understand it was once listed in Darnell catalogue.

There is a misplaced surcharge.The bars are above the numeral usually presented in pairs or blocks with normal.I believe there's also a block exists missing the surcharge on one stamp.I have seen the misplaced and believe there are degrees of the shift.It remains one of those varieties not in my collection.

I have various Darnell editions from 1994 to 2005 (their last one, I think) and I couldn't find the picture, but I knew I had seen it many times before. Unitrade! My copy of that is a couple of years old, but I doubt the prices matter too much ...  Ryan |
