Has anyone else noticed a huge jump in shipping fees from Royal Mail? I don't order from them regularly, but I wanted to pre-order the new presentation pack for The Who The last presentation pack I ordered came with a shipping fee just under $3US. This time, it works out to almost $15. It's the same if I just order the two stamp sheets. What the heck? They don't offer me any choices for different shipping. Why the jump? I know It's coming across the pond, but that's a pretty big jump from my last order in April.

Oh, yes. All is not well in Perfidious Albion.
Encountered this a few weeks ago from an Ebay seller. He responded politely to my disbelief with the most complicated scheme ever for combining shipping fees; cancelling elements, refunding, more legerdemain than W.C. Fields routine. A taste below. It made no sense what so ever, but he seemed to know what he was talking about and I said fine, give it a whirl. I still don't know if he saved me a penny even, but the razzle dazzle was distracting. And everything arrived as promised.

I don’t know why they are charging $15? Postage goes up this weekend but a standard letter is£2.80 for 100g. Large is £4.20 Tracked and signed to USA is£10.60
If you want to save money on postage I could collect from my local office and forward to you at letter rate. PM me
