my guess
they look like CTO? (not a US collector, but cancels (or portions thereof) are all the same ... just different locations

Thanks for your post, Terri ( philatelia) Well, the cancels not only generally appear in the corners as quarter-circles, like CTO items, as Stan ( stainlessb) pointed out, but moreover, they look like generic rings with no legend in them at all, i.e., no date, no location, etc. My best guess is that these are completely fake, created by someone with a simple "ring" rubber stamp, attempting to simulate postal cancellations on the stamps. This is just my opinion, and of course, others are welcome to offer theirs.

The designs are much fuzzier than the originals.

No identifying marks in the postmark. Never seen just part of a circle for a postmark. Very dull colors but that could be the screen.

I agree with the opinion that these are fakes. I wrote to the seller and, to summarize, they said that they would rather have that ring cancel than an ugly spray cancel. I gently let them know that forging cancels on United States Postal Service stamps is illegal. I don’t think they have any idea that this is a no-no. Their response sounds like they think they are doing collectors a favor by creating attractive copies with light cancels. This is why I posted this - it doesn’t hurt to step back and think about why genuine cancels are important and affect value. Lol - yeah, I’m such a Girl Scout.

So if the stamps are genuine, the “postmarks” have actually devalued 10 useable for postage Forevers.?
Seems either stupid ,
or with fraudulent intent to fool novice collectors. Anyway it is just as hateful and destructive as the “ marker monkey “
