Hello! I'm Dan, a member of APS for about 30 years. I collect worldwide classic era stamps, though inevitably I somehow get lots of material that's outside that wide parameter! I especially like stamps that require study for proper identification--Greek Hermes heads, woodprint blocks from Nepal, Italian and German States, and the private ship stamps of La Guaira, etc.

Welcome Dan ... there are a lot of WW and classic collectors here ... and people who like to do a bit of analysis. So, you're among friends. Have fun.
I have fond memories of driving over the mountains a few times to visit Gettysburg, Fort Ligonier and Fort Necessity. And, doing business and seeing the sights in Philadelphia.
If they're not already, the colours must be beautiful in the northern part of the state.

While my present circumstances have led me to a more simplified form of collecting, I can appreciate the time and work involved for certain issues. I hope you'll share some of your collection and knowledge with us.

What I collect: My focus is on Wild Mammals on maximum cards. Occasionally, I get or create maximum cards with other animals, or any other topic.
