Hello, everyone. Thought I would introduce myself..Guess like a great percentage of you I’m getting back into collecting after more years than I care to remember.I spent a great deal of my childhood watching my late father painstakingly putting his latest acquisitions into albums. He loved Isle of Man stamps. Jamaica and India to name a few. After his death, his collection was sadly sold at an auction. I have started collecting Japan, Isle of Man, The Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, British Antarctic Territory and First day covers from the UK. I guess while enjoying this hobby with new enthusiasm, I also wanted to feel a connection with my father! Best wishes. Mark.  |

As the member of our local Uk stamp club who is first contact on our club website when families want help with disposing of inherited collections, I note Your interest in GB first day covers, Let me say I have a considerable accumulation of these from 1970 to about 2016 available at a small fraction of the original face value or current catalogue value. Send me a message here if there are particular covers you require to fill gaps in your collection regards Alex (Vikingeck)
