Hello, everyone. Thought I would introduce myself..Guess like a great percentage of you I’m getting back into collecting after more years than I care to remember.I spent a great deal of my childhood watching my late father painstakingly putting his latest acquisitions into albums. He loved Isle of Man stamps. Jamaica and India to name a few. After his death, his collection was sadly sold at an auction. I have started collecting Japan, Isle of Man, The Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, British Antarctic Territory and First day covers from the UK. I guess while enjoying this hobby with new enthusiasm, I also wanted to feel a connection with my father! Best wishes. Mark.

Hi Mark, welcome on board.
As the member of our local Uk stamp club who is first contact on our club website when families want help with disposing of inherited collections, I note Your interest in GB first day covers, Let me say I have a considerable accumulation of these from 1970 to about 2016 available at a small fraction of the original face value or current catalogue value. Send me a message here if there are particular covers you require to fill gaps in your collection regards Alex (Vikingeck)

Sorry for my stupid question -- Are you based in Japan? Do you have connection with Japanese stamp dealer(s)?
