That's a cat for you. We have put stuff on the top of every piece of furniture just so the cat won't sit where we don't want him to sit.
I just saw a show about cats on the animal channel. I could not believe it but a cat actually got himself or herself or itself into and out of a pickle jar.
Except for black whiskers we have your cat's twin.

Luckily that was the lid.
The other thing the cat likes to do it attack the pages as they come out of the printer. Soon as he hears the printer start up, he races down to the family room and stands there staring at the printer waiting for pages to come flying out.

My screen saver on my phone is my cat sleeping (or faking it) on my pages while I am attempting to re-mount stamps.He is such a great help.Loves to suddenly and magically jump into the middle of loose stamps or mounts then lay under nice warm high intensity desk lamp.
