Hey Jack. Remember last summer when you put out feelers for a design for a TSF club cache. I actually did one, but forgot about it. Picked up my sketch book tonight, with the idea that maybe I should spend more time on sketching than my stamps (Noooooo, cried the crowd), and look what I found. This was my interpretation of a stamp club. A bit of an homage to George Feyer. He was a Hungarian born Canadian cartoonist from the 50s and 60s (he had a tv show on CBC called "Pick a letter with George Feyer" that I remember watching as a kid) who in the early 70s put out a book called George Feyer's Stamp Book, where he took stamps and incorporated them into hilarious cartoons. I used to have a copy, but my kids got a hold of it (when they were small) and destroyed it. This is certainly not as clever as George's, but none the less. Ladies and Gentlemen. The Stamp Club...

HaHa! Thanks for the votes of confidence you two, but that's hardly what I'd call high art. Fun though, and that's what it should be. I will point out, if I haven't before, my icon (or whatever you call it) next to my name is another of my creations. It was an entry for Canada Posts' contest a couple of years ago to design their annual mental health stamp. I think this entry came in about 43rd out of over 350 entries. Not bad I suppose, but still a far cry from a real stamp. **sigh**

I like it a lot! and that's really good for a submission actually considering the amount of entries! Also it's called an avatar I believe.
