That shows me how much of my knowledge is informed by stamp collecting - I'm fine with the spousal names back to Victoria, but Queen Adelaide, Queen Caroline? New ones to me!

Wives, Consorts, Ryan. How many people would know the husband of Queen Victoria? We deal with the faces on little bits of paper

Canada : Hi I TAX BOOKS Stamp manufacturing : Banana Productions 1991 For those interested in having their own poster stamps made, Anna Banana still appears to be in business. She has a perforator and uses a professional printer to print user-submitted designs on gummed paper. If the design stuff is outside of your abilities, she can do that too. She's in British Columbia. mypage.uniserve.ca/~a_banana/Ryan

Brilliant work. That post rates 3 gold tweezer points, for detective work. and amply illustrates, placing good information within your post, can sometimes radiate around the globe. (and bring people to TSF)

"Some years ago I produced a 6-stamp block/edition for Bill Hornadge of Dubby, NSW, which he reported in Stamp News, May 1992, and wonder if he attended your forum." (But still an Aussie ) Alas, she will be retiring from business 2014...so get your orders in Rod

Western Australia : "The Cinderella State" Western Australia was once commonly referred to as the 'Cinderella state'. This was mostly due to the lack of attention and finance supplied from the eastern states that still seem to think that Australia ends on the eastern side of the W.A. state border. Far from being the 'Cinderella state', today, Western Australia is the powerhouse of the nation supplying the world from our vast mineral resources and feeding a good proportion of it from our extensive farm lands. People now migrate to W.A. from the east in the hope of sharing in the abundant riches. Sadly this has led to housing prices sky rocketing and our most attractive areas becoming over crowded. Banana Productions produced a sheet for Bill Hornadge of Australia referencing "The State of Cinderella" Banana Productions are noted in his CD Rom

I have a complete sheet of those 'I tax books' cindys. Terrific stuff (the labels, not the tax). Picked these two up yesterday. Commemorating the Royal Visit to Canada in 1939. I'm sure these are part of a larger set.

Thanks I now have some more things to find room for but, they will be in the right place.I have many, many more almost afraid to look at them right now.As I said I've been in the process of re-mounting modern Canada I am up to 2000 so plugging along.Stamps are now spread out enough that I should never in my lifetime have to move them again. When I finish this I must go back to early stuff as I've just been putting glassines of new arrivals into the page protectors where they belong.I already know I have serious amount of time to move small queens and identify whats what. They occupy at least six pages if my memory is correct.

I have lost an entire page of posts, whomsoever moved the posts, would you be so kind as to advise where they went please?
I have perhaps commitments to send free cinderellas, to members in that post. I appreciate all the work the moderators do, but please, be polite, and advise if you move, or intend to move posts.
They were in Cinderellas> Canada Cinderellas, which seems appropriate to me, and growing into multiple pages, there now is a disjointed sub-board.
I also do a lot of work, to load these images into Photobucket and transfer them to this forum, and to have them disappear without notice is irritating in the extreme. Thanks for your cooperation.

Thanks Admin, no rush, if they are lost, so be it, accidents do happen. I'll do a search from the posts I recall, and see if I can locate.
No results, I think the page/s have been lost.

For the large rouletted labels at the top, there was a similar set of 5 labels issued in 1943 by the Canadian Forestry Association, but with English text. I would presume that the French text ones were issued about that time too.
The 1982 Toronto stamp near the bottom was issued by Canada Post as part of a souvenir sheet (see Scott#913a) commemorating the Canada82 International Philatelic Youth Exhibition. The sheet also contained 5 postage stamps featuring classic Canadian stamps (3 penny beaver, bluenose, etc., Scott#909-913).
From your earlier scan: Beaudet Express Enrg.: Beaudet Express Enregistré was a trucking and transportation company founded in Mont-Joli, QC in 1935 by Charles-Borromée Beaudet (1901-1981), with offices also in Rivière-du-Loup, Montreal, and Quebec City. The company was in operation until about 1961. The advertising label was probably issued in the 1940's or 1950's.
