All of us US collectors know this 1945 stamp commemorating the centenary of Texas Statehood (shown on a FDC sent to me, I believe, by our own Mr. Tomisek).
I recent acquired this postcard size piece showing the original artwork proposal. The back reads, "This is a reproduction of the Original design as submitted to the Post Office Department by The Designer Mr. Buchanan (Buck) Winn, Jr." (capitals as they appear on the card)
Kind of neat. I think these will be mounted together on an album page.
