What I collect: United States, Ukraine, Ireland

I expect to be collecting Ireland in 2014. With Ireland going back significantly farther than Ukraine, designing all those pages would take forever. At the same time, I really want descriptions. So I decided to go a different route. My plan is to use Bill Steiner's pages and use the back of the previous page to give you the description of the current page, much like the Mystic Heirloom album does for US Stamps. To test my idea, I bought Irish stamps from 1967 to give to my wife for Christmas and did this to the page: Steiner 1967 Ireland Page: My description page: An idea of what the final product looks like: What do you guys think?

I think that is fabulous Andy, I only see one negative. For Czechoslovakia, I use Steiner, without descriptive pages, I am up to 3 Albums, weighing in at 2kg ea.with page protectors.
Look for a sturdy bookcase.

Do you collect both the Czech Republic and Slovakia now, or does your collection stop with the split?

Andy, I think it looks great. On the descriptions, I might suggest a slightly larger space between the two columns.

Andy pondered : "Do you collect both the Czech Republic and Slovakia now, or does your collection stop with the split?"
Not actively, passively yes, being a sad worldwide collector, everything passes muster, if Slovakia is included in lots, they get mounted, so sparse pages, but nevertheless looked after.
I really like your commentaries, not sure where you glean this info from, but marvelous for issues of interest. That must involve a lot of work.
