I have done a little work on the link's, they were hard to see in a post. What I have done is faded the text of the main body and made the links black and bold so they will stand out. If you hover your mouse over it the link will turn a yellow and is a little hard to see as we have a beige background. The forum is a whole network of links each member username and title of a post will be a link. As a result you will notice some text is now bold. I will be working on improving this over the next few days. Also I will be messing around with the settings etc. etc. so if you happen to be on the forum and notice a drastic change don't worry. Its me having fun

It's looking real good. I hope you won't change the overall colour for a while as I really like it and find it restful on the eyes - away from all the blue and grey on most other fora!

Colour of the form is staying like this, Yes I agree its easy on the eyes. It's one of the things I detest about some forums so bright and loud. I wanted something that I could spend a hour looking out without eye strain. To be honest I got lucky I was playing around and this theme popped up, luck of the Irish

I'm quite impressed with the color scheme Jack has provided us -- it is the perfect complement to the non-commercial feel of the forum.
In regard to the emphasis of the links/urls, I think you've tweaked it enough that the links are readily identifiable.
As for the fading of the text color of the thread title when the cursor highlights it, I think we'll get used to that with time.

Suggestion: change the CSS of the link hover state. Right now, when my mouse hovers over any link anywhere on the board, it becomes invisible rather than switching to a different color.
