Ryan suggested..... I have used PDFCreator for many years. The program is actually a printer driver. If you want to create a .PDF file, you print the file, but when the printer dialogue box comes up, you select PDFCreator as your printer, not your Epson or HP or what have you. The file you are "printing" is saved as a .PDF file. www.pdfforge.org/Printing a single .JPG will create a single .PDF file. You can then use a simple program like PDF Toolkit to stitch the individual .PDFs into one big document. www.pdflabs.com/tools/pdftk-the-pdf-toolkit/Ryan This is an absolutely fabulous program, so far 10/10. Easy, simple, powerful and free. I created a 5 page "Germany Registration Label" album in about 5 seconds. It is 1.5 Mb however Photobucket does not accept PDF documents. I now have an avenue to create personal digital albums for all my Cinderellas, Revenues and ephemera etc. All we need now, is a reliable free host to post our PDF documents. I can see this being the next step in the future of stamp collecting, people exchanging PDF's of specialised material, even their Country's albums fo ID, sorting, etc & etc. A big thank you Ryan.

Google Chrome has PDF printing built into it. I use it to print my electronic Linn's Stamp News to PDF to read on my Nexus 10.

Hi Rodney
Great little program isn't it. Like Ryan I have been using it for years. Any thing that can be printed can be converted to a PDF.
I have tested other like programs but this was the best one, besides being free. A big advantage, at least to me, is that I can run it from .NET as it has an interface library.

Rod - sorry for such a long delay in replying to your use of PDFill. I have not experienced the problems you have indicated. IO am surprised. Having said that, I am always wanting to find bigger and better products, so I am going to download and take a look at pdfcreator.

Jerry B It is, it is, Jerry, I'd happily pay for it. It is so easy and oily smooth, I intend to PDF my collections, Romania for example, I'll PDF my entire collection in 10 year blocks if possible. Make an easy "want list" as I flip through the Steiner pages, to see the gaps, if any. If I marry it also with Forbin, I can finally collate my Revenues (that have huge gaps) but in a concise and readable form, for years my revenues are dribs and drabs in all sorts of Hagners. I just emailed off a Denmark Cliches file, which took me all of 40 seconds to complete. I did get into 1 pickle, it downloaded "PDF ARchitect" which was getting in the way, I had to force my computer to load PDFCreator only. One small problem I am having, if I set the page to "full" when loading images, small images pixellate in the PDF I have to learn how to set different resolution images so that they all read correctly when the PDF is written.

Hi There is another open source (free) program that is pretty good, PDFMerge: www.softpedia.com/get/Office-tools/PDF/PdfMerge.shtmlI did not like the GUI interface, to me it is a little "clunky", so I am building another interface and using the "guts" from this program. It uses 2 PDF libraries that I previously used but the techniques here preserve any bookmarks and is much faster. Another good site to search for open source programs (freeware) is: sourceforge.net/I think the security is pretty good on SourceForge. So far the downloads have been clean, no viruses, etc. Jerry B
