Andy, thanks for pulling this all together! Great post!
One question for you: have you tried to use the image bursting software? I tried it a few months ago (maybe a year ago), and did not have much success with it. I have no idea if it was me, how I set up the images, or just something else.
(Unless I'm having an early morning synapse failure (not enough coffee yet), Adobe Photoshop Elements has the same capability, and it also has a hard time separating them correctly. If I'm recalling correctly, it would crop off the perfs, although the resulting image was a very attractive imperf version of the stamp!)
I've been able to automate or speed up most of the other steps it takes to list stamps for sale, except for image separation. I have gotten fast at doing it in PSE, but that's never as fast as an automated solution would be.
Thanks!
-- Dave

Excellent post Andy. i would add Stamp Album Page Generator
by PostmasterGS which uses already widely held (but NOT free) Publisher & Excel. I think he's up to version 1.5.5 now and he may have also experimented with Scribus ... not sure. ... Cal

The author of that apps visits a certain stamp forum that's "down under." Since I have chosen not to log into that site, I don't use either program much.

Thanks for the info. Since I retired I don't have access to Windows office. So i am using libre office. I really like it. It is slow opening though.

Libreoffice does everything I need in an office suite. I'm not a heavy Excel user, so I think that's why. Overall, I'm impressed something so go good could be free.
Another choice is to use Google Docs. It's not as full featured, but still worth looking into.
