This recently acquired, bronze on lilac Blood's Despatch (Scott 15L14) local on a folded letter, with 3 cent Washington (Scott 11), is tied by a Philadelphia CDS and acid. The Blood's Despatch handstamp is dated November 9, 1855(6?).

The "6" in this Blood's handstamp leads me to conclude that Peter is correct -- my cover was postmarked in 1855.
