I got an offer to subscribe to it. $18 a year for 10 issues. I just was curious if anyone had ever seen it. They describe themselves as "America's most exciting stamp magazine".
thanks, Theron.

What I collect: Primarily focused on Japan, but lots of other material catches my eye as well ...

Theron, I've been subscribing for 4-5 years now. It's pretty good, and worth the money, in my opinion. It's put out by the American Stamp Dealers Association. You do see articles in it that you would rarely see elsewhere, and it's at a very accessible level. My only complaint, and I seem to be the only person that's ever voiced this publicly, is that the language is, to my taste, a bit too flowery. Most of the articles feel like there were written to be press releases, and it does not pretend to be objective in its reporting. (Unlike Linn's, which I think actually tries to be written and edited like a good newspaper, generally speaking.) I went to their website site to see if they had a sample issue available. They don't exactly, but they do offer a free 3-month online subscription, so you could get your feet wet with it that way. www.americanstampdealer.com/ViewCategory2Page.aspx?catid=25&cat2id=42Having said what I just said, I don't think you would feel ripped off or disappointed in a subscription. FWIW, ("for what it's worth") -- Dave

You bet!
Let us know what you think, once you've had a chance to look through them a bit.
