Some of you may remember that, a few months ago, I was asking for help in finding stamps related to Vasco de Gama to help my son illustrate a school assignment. Today I stumbled upon the perfect piece, which I had completely forgotten about, this block issued by New Caledonia for the Portugal'98 stamp show:  Maybe it would have helped him get a better grade. I'm a little miffed because we had worked hard on this, finding original material (i.e. going through some books of mine, as opposed to just Wikipedia and a Google search) and my son had done a good job at giving back the information in using his own words. |
