The Springfield Stamp Club will host Springpex 2014, March 1–2, at the Robert E. Lee High School’s Cafeteria, 6540 Franconia Road (VA Rte. 644), Springfield, Virginia 22150. Show hours are Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Admission and parking are free. There will be 26 dealers, 50 frames of exhibits, society meetings, and a USPS station. Two show cachets: Saturday's commemorates the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War of Petersburg, VA and Sunday's the 200th Anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner, written at Baltimore during the War of 1812. Directions: From I-95 – Exit 169 (Route 644 East – Franconia Road), stay right and avoid the overpass/ramp, take a left under the 2nd overpass onto Frontier Drive, one block north, turn right on Cimarron St. to parking lot.
