Hi Jack
Are all your pages pink or just the title page?

Jerry it's salmon not pink :-) I have a few different color card stock and thought the pink would be a nice back ground for the PB I have a blue that I want to use for penny reds and a yellow for the 2 penny blues
I don't like lots of stamps on a page that's why I have gone with plain pages I using page protectors. As I manly collect used I thinking of using hinges instead of mounts. I think it has a nicer look
I will be working on the reds this week and show you a page when done I also will do a informative write up that I will be placing in the back side of the page protector Life is great when you can do what you want and do it your way. Long last the free minded collectors

Hi Jack
It's pink to these old eyes! A rose by any other name is still a rose. Since the beginning I have used blank quadrille pages. I mount things by year so in some cases I may have only 1 or 2 stamps on a page. Same when I do a pleasing, to me, layout and there are stamps remaining. I have pages where there are a few varieties of a single stamp, or a set, plus an appropriate cover. If a set of stamps incorporates regular issue and air-mail they are all on one page. if possible. I do put back-of-book separate.
Many people say that when it comes time to sell I will not get as much because of this arrangement. My dealer friend says he likes the arrangement, especially when one lifts a mount and there is a date and Scott and specialized catalog numbers under it.
Like you, I collect for my pleasure and if one doesn't like the way I do it, so be it.

I too have ditched my printed pages(well almost I'm down to my last year, now). In my eyes quadrille is the way to sail,it allows for as you say to expand on all those varieties, covers, cancels, colors, perfs, etc. It's not pleasing to everyone but I collect for me.I follow release dates so the back of book stuff falls where it may.I have started putting those cindys in where they belong as well. My books are like a good novel you never know what will be on the next page.If re-sale is a motivation this is probably not for you.I can't wait to see your finished product Jack.Bottom line do your own thing!!

I Collect by year and Scott number and try to keep all the sets together. Like you I collect for my own personal enjoyment and follow few guidelines because if I hinge or mount something in a spot then I can't move it if I get a variety so I use the Vario system. I do use a traditional album though to keep track of my Washington/Franklins simply because of the volume of stamps involved.

Long last the free minded collectors Gotta say I would not eat a salmon that color! But I too like seeing what others are doing for pages. As a beginner, I still like the pictures. The thought of looking up Scott numbers makes me weep.
