What I collect: If I have a catalogue for it, I collect it. And I have many catalogues ....

Not too long ago, I bought a collection of French stamps that was at a level considerably higher than my normal "xx dollars per Kilogram" type of thing that I buy in such awful quantities. Included was something I had certainly never seen before, an albino label from Vichy-era France in between coloured semi-postal stamps of the same design. The three represent the tricolour of the French flag, of course. This scan was nabbed from an eBay auction, my set has long since been sorted into the proper country pile and will not be seen again until I finally get cataloguing things! This scan makes the design stand out much more than it did for me when I saw my strip of three. At first, I thought it was simply a gutter pair and I didn't notice the albino impression until I looked it up in the Scott catalogue. Ryan

I have this item in my Flag Collection. I was very impressed when I first saw it.
Most unusual.
