Richard's my name, Spanish classics are my game.........basically. Actually, I collect a lot of different things, depending on my whims, but early Spanish stamps are my main area of interest. Looking forward to seeing this forum grow.

Welcome aboard Richard. I will start a Spain board under Europe. I have read your posts in other board and trust you will be able to be a great help here

Thanks!, That would be cool. Not sure how much traffic an all Spanish board would get, but I'm sure willing to share anything I have, either stamps or opinion.

What I collect: Primarily focused on Japan, but lots of other material catches my eye as well ...

Richard/Spain1850: I know I've seen your posts on some of the other recent boards, but I'm wondering, were you on the old unthreaded eBay chatboard (and the EUSC!) way back in the day? I was there, too, under the same handle. (If you weren't, I must be confusing you with someone else, and I apologize.)

Dave, yeah I was there. Those were the "good ol' days", full of controversy and confrontation. Getting too old to be confrontational now though. Just would like a nice, fun, and educational place to hang my hat now.

Welcome psain1850. Would love to see some of your early issues! Please post some scans! I will post some scans of things I find interesting, new acquisitions (when I can afford them), as well as threads on identification of genuine vs. forgeries on occasion.

Richard: I did not enjoy the confrontation on there, some of which was deliberately provoked. People can disagree without being disagreeable. But I learned an awful lot and made some good friends (including some in person) on there. When eBay moved it to the threaded board, it seemed to lose a lot of momentum, and I, too, got tired of the some of the perennial conflict, and drifted away from it.
Anyway, good to see you on here and elsewhere as well!
