Here's a pair from the Dutch city of Hertogenbosch 1913. Found two more on ebay in red and brown. Listing says these are from an 'Ancient Religious Art Exhibition'. I don't know any more.

Some Dutch sheets, part of a give away form Klaus on SCF I know the Queen Juliana look like semipostals, but they are not listed in Scotts and there's no country name so I'm going to assume they are cinderellas for the Red Cross.

A Poster Stamp advertising a 1924 Auto Show held in Amsterdam, I couldn't resist for about the price of a latte!!! (I don't drink coffee, but like to say I don't spend more on stamps than people who spend money on coffee!)

These " Field Post" labels were offered online, I have never seen them before. Not sure if my bid will be high enough; they were already up to about a dollar each! Does anyone know if they ever actually been used on actual soldiers' mail? And wouldn't the soldiers have needed a scissors to cut them, as some are imperforate?!? Just curious...

A proof label, on card, which reads 'Valid until 1st January 1920' for a pharmaceutical product from the Dutch company J C Boldoot. The company was founded as a pharmacy in May 1789 in Amsterdam by Jacobus Cornelius Boldoot and grew to great fame for its Beauty products and Eau de Cologne, they were purveyors to five courts in Europe. Joannes Jacobus Boldoot joined the company in 1871 but when he died in 1898 the company converted to a public limited company. After changing hands many times, it was re-acquired by the Boldoot family circa 2007 and is still very prominent today.

The Pub is Closed by the Will of the People. Support the popular petition for local choice From a 1913 anti-alcoholism campaign in the Netherlands. This striking stamp is most definitely a poster stamp since it was taken from a poster designed by Albert Hahn (1877-1918). Hahn was a Dutch political cartoonist, poster artist and book cover designer; well known for his socialist views. He studied at The Drawing School for Art Crafts in Amsterdam and then taught drawing. Hahn produced over 4,000 drawings in his lifetime. He suffered from tuberculosis and succumbed in 1918. Below the stamp is his last cover design. Credit: Jan de Groot. "De Notenkraker. Korte schets van een ‘politiek-satyriek weekblad’, 1907-1936". Groningen, 2006 | Albert Hahn sr. (1877-1918)

Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands 50th Anniversary of her Reign and 700 years of The Hague as as the home of the Royal Court. Willem II was elected King of the Romans in 1248 and established the royal court in The Hague that year. Wilhelmina was 10 when her father died in 1890 and had to wait 8 years for her inauguration. She would abdicate in 1948 in favour of her daughter Juliana.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Hugh, hdm1950 , that's a very nice lot of mainly, as you say, Dutch cinderellas. I have to admit that I have only encounterd a handful of these before. The cinderella market is vast and with relatively few catalogues readily available. The historical figures are my favourites, who knew that David Livingstone and Isaac Newton advertised eau de cologne? Top right World War I for the Battle of the Yzer from a series. De Mooist Overwinding relates to a football comic series. The strip of 7 are anti-TB stamps from a series of 10. The circular items are mainly letter seals, the colour ones are best in my opinion.
It's good to see postage stamp collectors being won over by cinderellas.
Thanks for posting,
Daniel

I would not say I have been won over Daniel but this selection looked interesting enough to share. I do tend to keep ones that come close to being stamps like the German propaganda ones I shared a few days ago or the Italian patriate ones. I resist getting into poster stamps even though I may like them. Over the years I found myself keeping them and then I go through a spell of selling them off once I remember I do not collect them . My crow side wants to save and collect everything.

From Joh. Enschedé security printers in the Netherlands, a souvenir sheet produced for the Hong Kong 2001 stamp exhibition, using 5 printing techniques: Litho-Offset, Photogravure, Intaglio, Letterpress and Silkscreen Printing. It was made a Royal company in 2003 but was purchased by Anglo-American authentication solutions company Authentix in April this year, 2023.
