As Perfs14 mentioned in the Let's see some classic Spain thread I put together a Mini Exhibition on the stamp engraver José Luis López Sánchez Toda. So here it is. Enjoy!

I never really put a name to the fine engravings of Spanish stamps. Just seeing the examples you show here, I can say I must have good taste as they are some of my favorites among the later "classic" period. I've always loved the Columbus issues. I think I have a set of the triangular ones with the ornamentation's attached. great stuff, thanks for sharing.
Question, I notice the background image on your pages is one of the architectural types. Did Toda engrave many of those as well? I think they are simply fascinating.

The background image was also engraved by Toda as well.

José Luis López Sánchez Toda engraved the 1968 'Monumentos y Paisajes' set. The 3,50 PTAS stamp is the one in the background to OP's document. He also engraved the ten stamps of the 1966 'Monumentos y Paisajes' set together with his brother Alfonso López.
