A page out of one of my Dad's Schaubek stock books, in storage since 1957. I'm just starting to learn what is present. I was unable to find the top row-left stamps in the Scott digital world catalogue. The "Stamp Identifier" app indicates they are "Tarnow Local Government" issues from 1919. Tarnów, a town in southeastern Poland, has a lengthy Wikipedia entry. The large stamps in the 2nd row were identified as Cinderellas from 1916 intended to promote enlistment into the Polish Legion of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in Galacia to help fight against Russia for Polish independence. I haven't gotten to the remaining stamps yet, but I have discovered that the stamps making up most of the bottom three rows were discussed on this thread some time ago and that should be a big help. Perhaps few or none will be in the Scott digital Worldwide catalogue.  |

On rows 4,5,6 KOMW stands for Komitet Obywatelski Miasta Warszawy (Civic Commitee of the City of Warsaw) |
