From the sunshine state.

It was sunny as I woke, the birds were happy,
But I'd had a late night, and feeling so crappy,
And I wanted to buy that jumbo stamp packet,
As I searched for some change,
In the holes in my jacket,

A poor man's collection, frustratingly dull
I sold lots of stamps, my Philately cull
Yet I still can't afford an Inverted Jenny,
Nor a 4-margined beauty, a GB Black Penny,

So I sit here bemused over odd Cinderellas
And revenue stamps from the aptly-named Hellas,
A few jolly Flags that flap on their pages,
A collection neglected, not looked-at in ages,

So glumly I sit with my keyboard and puter,
And look for a forum to nudge in my hooter,
To see if the place has good conversation,
And laughter and fun,
A whole new sensation,

I've tried all the others, my fingers are aching,
Could this be the ultimate forum we're making?
Let's give it go, we've tried all the rest,
And see if we can make it,
One of the best.
