Location : Northern 40% of the Island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Turkey.
Established following Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974. On Nov. 15, 1983
Turkey declared the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to be independent.
No other country has recognized this country.
