Hi folks! I have been an active buyer/seller on the internet for about 2 years now. I got started when my neighbor showed me her grandfathers collection from 1902 in an original WW Scott stamp album, and we agreed that I would try to sell the contents. The learning adventure really started from there. The stamps were not in great shape but some scarce items were part of the collection including a #8, which I eventually sold on Ebay for $900. I got the collecting bug and started my own collection of US mint stamps, that now numbers over 2000 and growing (much slower now that I have the standards). I am here to broaden my market as I sell US mint sets (and sometimes foreign and used US)
I live in Charlotte, NC now via Rochester NY, and am a retired owner of an engineering firm, although the stock market took my $, so now I am a poor retired owner. Hope to get the 50 posts so that I can start selling soon. Many people here are from the SC forums that has had a few problems recently (hope they straighten out since I learned alot from the members there)

Hi folks!! The annual Charlote, NC Stamp show (CHARPEX) is this weekend Saturday and Sunday. Many dealers, auctions, exhibits, and the USPO will be there. Check the website for driving instructions. Charpex 2018 will be held on July 28-29, 2018 in the Worrell Building, formerly Taylor Hall, on the campus of Central Piedmont Community College. Show hours are 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Everyone is welcome to attend for free. I'll be there at the check-in booth on Saturday. Just ask for Rich James (kosmet)
