A newbie question;
I'm not sure who to contact about this, but I would like to scan and share my Ireland overprint proofs and reference collection. I was the lucky buyer of the Ireland collection - along with his notes - of one of the APS founding members, Robert Gray. Seeing some of the proofs on blank paper, and seeing a complete collection (lacking one seahorse) is super helpful for id work. those overprints can be tricky!
I'm asking because there isn't a separate category for Ireland under Western Europe and I thought it might be helpful to folks who want to use the overprint references if these were listed under "Ireland". Actually, I'm not sure where would be the best place to upload the files, thus my query.
If you don't believe the scans would be used enough to justify adding a new category, no worries! :-) Thanks in advance to the moderators.

Go ahead and start your thread in the Europe (Other) sub-board. One of the moderators will (might? ha ha) create a new sub-board for you and will move your thread there. I see there are a couple of Ireland stamp threads already started, so there has been some interest already. I would certainly like to see the overprinted seahorse stamps! I only have one in my collection, and it looks like the dog who chewed on it didn't like the taste enough to swallow it ... Ryan

Ireland exists already under "Europe" Navigate Home / Europe / then select Ireland, for all pertinent threads. If any members want to check thread topics / lost countries, one can always go to "Search" type in "Ireland" etc, then select "display as threads"

Update (and kudos to Zuzu )
to find countries in The Stamp Forum Google site:thestampforum.boards.net then add country
eg: site:thestampforum.boards.net Ireland

Is everything figured out? There's now a sub-board for Ireland available for Philatelia to post in directly, and the existing Ireland threads have been moved to that sub-board - thanks very much. Looks like a homework / spare time project to set up sub-boards for some of the other countries still found in the Europe (Other) sub-board. Yay Iceland, yay Liechtenstein, yay Norway, yay Estonia! (I'm both 1/4 Norwegian and 1/4 Estonian ...) Ryan

Awesome!! I'll get busy on those scans this week!
Another benefit - scanning them means they can be zoomed to fill the screen so the details are clear. I've scanned pages of stamps on Hagner sheets when flyspecking for varieties. I then view them on the 40" monitor that my computer nut hubby insisted that I need (luv my IT dude!) and voila - they are super easy to see!

We'll bang our heads together and see what we can come up with. I'll ask Admin and tomiseksj and Londonbus1 if adding all those are plausible at the moment OK? I just don't want to go ahead and add a buch of stuff without letting anyone know OK?
