Thanks. I had one, and it was Bujutsu who told me that they were a specialty to collect, so I buy all I can find.
Jack, is Bujutsu a member here? If not, perhaps you could send him an invitation. He's stamp erudite, and has cool stuff that all will enjoy.

Hey in that first post with blue Franklin I think that may be a #9. I'm just dabbling in the identification of this issue and I know it's either a Type III. or Type III.A. "Plumes and balls cut" and "bottom of the oval was re-cut" but to me it also has attributes of a Type IV. but again I'm no expert on these. I love them all but I have a weakness for both the 1¢ blue Franklins- #7-#9 and the 3¢- #10-#11's. Great looking covers!

Hi ILS,
I have no idea what number it is. I think it was listed as #24.

My first ladies cover - from Philadelphia to Miss Alice Bard of Norristown, PA. Just received Monday and haven't had I chance to scan, so this is the seller's image. Hmmm, you should be able to click on the image and go to a larger version on flickr, but when I click it's asking me to sign in. :/

Nice. But be careful, they're addicting.

Nice. But be careful, they're addicting. That's what I'm afraid of! Maybe I'll just e-mail you through TSF whenever I see a good one... I'll just be an enabler and collect vicariously. ;D

It's a delightful, satisfying addiction.
