I had a pretty weak Niue collection and I happened to find a nice collection from Weeda Stamps - 369 different mint plus 93 souvenir sheets. I'm just now sorting through the collection, and taped to the first page was a valued inventory list with the following note: "Been there, no beaches, not much fun." ha ha Ryan

Here is a Niue page from one of my albums before the days of computers - type written. I always liked this 1950 engraved definitive set.

Here is a little Niue overprint block I picked up. Looks like the middle bottom stamp might be missing a fraction bar? I didn't notice anything in SG but I haven't checked BK or Robson Lowe yet. In any regard, I thought it looked nice. edit: Forgot to mention the arrow. Easy to overlook.

I believe it is 14.75 x 14.25 with the double-line watermark. I'd like to find a resource that shows any watermark at the paper's edge to be sure.

I guess we assume it is Sc#3 Scott has the opt as Carmine which it looks like, Gibbons had it as Red, hence my query.

Here a question about Niue Scott #11. From the scan, you can see the right stamp has a juxtaposed "e" in the middle of the bottom line of the overprint. The left stamp is supposed to be the normal variety. Both stamps are perf. 11, wmk 61 (NZ and star close together), i.e., the underlying New Zealand stamp issued in 1902 (Scott #115). The stamps appear to be from different dies. I cannot find out any information about the variety. I cannot even find out if it is a known counterfeit. A look at the left side of "O" which starts the bottom line of the overprint shows both stamps have the extra inking (like a line) from being engraved. The white spots and lines in the variety's overprint are not uncommon from several "normal" overprints I have seen. Can anybody help?

Good day to you abctoo
Although I hate to send you anywhere near Glen at stampboards, his website does have a number of experts and one of which is Princestamps and although his topic here :-https://www.stampboards.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=48182 is not directly applicable he may well be willing to offer an opninion.
Regards
Gavin
