I don't believe we have ever touched on this one? Anyhow here is a little beauty sent from an "Mrs. Emma Dubler" (could be Doebler)< as that's a very prevalent family name in that area. to THE HAGER COMPANY of South Bend, Indiana, USA in the year 1919! In the period at the end of World War One! (to me that's neat enough!) Soon these companies would have to be stringently regulated and that's exactly why I like it- because I think that it was sent in the "last days/months" of the "snake oil salesman" era. I haven't had much time recently to research it much but it's doubtful that the same company still exists though that's not set in stone. I invite you to have a look and tell me what you think? I like the testimonials printed in red on the front. Not a thing on the reverse not even a receiver mark. Thank you greatly! Jeffrey Also February 24th 1919 was a Monday and the postmark (the 21st) was a Friday if you are at all interested in that type of detail?

Turns out that I found out yesterday for proof positive that Mrs. Emma Dubler was the Great Grand mother of ted Doebler so the last name has changed spelling since! Doeblers is a BIG genetically altered (to grow in droughts and certain bug resistance, etc...) soy bean and corn (seed corn) producer for other countries Here is an old card touting one of their products... Front: Contents: Reverse: Some historical literature: Turns out that that this guy should have known better at least I think but he was a postmaster in Canada! Read this! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hagersville,_Ontario

Thank you for the lead!C Sincerely sorry Jeff, I meant the post to be part of the "Snake Oil" commentary, and not regarding your health. The news is thoroughly genuine however, run through the ABC with genuine scientists involved. It is good news for Aussies who regularly suffer from melanomas due to our climate. If you view the youtube, it makes clear it is only for melanomas and skin lesions etc, not for other cancers.

Oh ok right on! Thank you though I really appreciate it both ways and sent the link to a sister-in-law (who I really don't get along with too well) as she was recently diagnosed with a melanoma. So who knows it may have helped someone? At least she can look further into it anyway. I said I really knew nothing other than whats stated in the article and to read it for herself and do the research. I hope maybe it will somehow be of some help?
