What is the shoutbox? If you are not familiar with this forum you might ask yourself the question "what is the Shoutbox?" At the bottom of every page you will see the Shoutbox. The Shoutbox is no different then a live chat room, the conversations on the Shoutbox are normally a hello, weather reports and other topics. We try and not use the Shoutbox to ask questions related to stamps, the reason is that the shoutbox only archives the resent Shouts. When we hold live auctions we use the shoutbox.

The Shoutbox is an integrated live, instant messaging chat room for our forum.
Since the Shoutbox is not designed as a permanent means of posting messages, shouts are not archived. However members will be able to view up to 20 of the most recent shouts.
The Moderator team is able to review 200 of the most recent shouts.
These parameters are established by Proboards and we are not able to modify them.
The bottom line is, if you want your comments to be permanent, make them in a post, rather than a shout.
