The first cross I've completed. The stamps are a re-construction of the center of the sheet P.O. cut with scissors to make four panes of one hundred.definitely more difficult to find than I thought.see also the thread wanted more dead than alive.

I am currently into volume three re-mounting (again)this thread makes sure I finish at least two pages per day to stay ahead of posts.I'm finding stuff I stuck into the page protectors to get to and now I'm a getting to it.Motivation to finish once and for all.I also just realized at this rate it will take faithful posting daily for next three years or so(probably more like five we still have provinces, private perfs,SSJb,revenues etc) What have I started??

The prospects of finishing SSJB are bright there is a start and finish point and numbers are less than two hundred most available for couple bucks. You can delve deeper and hunt for the blocks ,se-tenents,etc.

Good eyes Rod yes it was the used block I have since replaced. It really belongs in the private perfins album now.Sometimes things just end up in the first place at hand.I like the letter city cancels and was fooled by them early on.I found a "G" cancel and thought I had found a mistaken official. We learn as we go, with or without paying those "dues".

Beauty stamps, frog! But an fyi, I believe your 'Remember' cindys are British. I have those and two others. They read 'Published by WINOX Ltd., Richmond Surrey England', and the initials WWC, on the back.
And of course I'm green over your type written War Tax Admiral. Probably a provisional created by some local postmaster. I'm constantly searching admirals for another. Hopefully, yours isn't unique.

Thanks LB1 !!! yes james sometimes I just add "stuff" if I like it I keep it.I've been looking at a series of cindys that depict WW1 battle cruisers that appeal to me.My budget is winter is restricted a bit more than usual they may have to wait. They too are a GB issue but interesting for sure.Nice catch that you noticed means someone pays attention,THANKS to all for looking at my junk.Keep your eyes open more cindys to follow may even have a few for the auction.LB1 I'll go looking for that sheet for you from egyptian king's collection.
