Well, is your printer direct connect (via usb) or a wireless connection? If the file is a pdf, look to see what printer it wants to print to. You could also try turning your printer off then on again, but I suppose you have done that.
regards, Theron.

Sometimes my printer won't print when I want it to sometimes it does. I found out one day when I restarted my computer a pile of stuff came flying out of the printer. At the time I was in school and had much to print.
When I have something to print and it won't print I just restart the computer and the printer will print. Make sure you have the printer turned on, give this a try.

Andy's question is a good one!
I had a similar problem in the past and found that the printer selection had somehow been changed from my printer to Microsoft XPS Document Writer.

Mr Frog, some suggestions. Can you print anything at all, from any software? For example, if you open notepad and type something can you print from there? If you have windows, go to start then printers and see what your default printer is. If it shows anything but your printer, reselect your printer as default. When you do attempt to print, what is the print dialogue box saying it is printing to? If you have done all these and no luck, then I guess this is your only choice: Theron.
