Concluded a rather successful trade with BeeSee in BC today, with a package showing up in my mailbox (Thanks Brian!)
I thought this was one of the more interesting items in a pile of interesting items.
This looks to be a regular ol' post card from the Calgary Stampede...
...but when you flip it over you'll see that it's actually a piece of advertising for Canada Savings Bonds, complete with fake stamp (this could maybe be considered a cinderella?) and post mark, Oct 1949.
I thought a clever piece of direct mail advertising.
