I thought that you might (or not) find this interesting, I know I did anyway! I seen this yesterday in my incoming mail. A circular from Kenmore stamps. It was larger than my scanner bed but there is enough of it to get the idea of the ad. It's refreshing to see they're still trying to fleece *cough-cough* err....sorry - I meant attract new collectors to the hobby! I haven't seen a stamp collectors advertising bit in quite a few decades in mainstream mail. Brings back some memories of staring at similar adverts for a long time when I was a much younger man.
I guess consider shipping that isn't such a bad deal but their catalog does provide a lot of entertainment and some good info but beware of prices. You might find better deals on the net? Just sayin'..

Are there any takers? What is your opinion. The stamps all look like the common stamps to me. They would make good postage.

Approvals were great way to start. My paper route money was always spent on this kind of stuff.I know it's a come on but really not a bad deal old postage for $2. My post office would be mad if I stopped buying stamps at the counter though. They hide that little bell when they see me come through the door I just love ringing it to drive them crazy.(Jack has me pegged but good)

It was suggested to me, or rather pointed out that the wording sort of hides the approvals you would have to return if you didn't buy them. So no shipping considered that isn't a bad deal but accidentally signing up for a stamps on approval program could prove a sticky situation if your poor as a church-mouse like myself! lol

I read it real close to and it doesn't say if the return postage is on the potential purchaser or not. Anyway I thought it would be good for someone just starting to collect U.S. Stamps.
