This little island of the coast of Scotland (native name: Eilean Dà Bhàrr) has been producing cinderellas since the 60s, when it was paying for the ferry service to take post to the nearest mainland post office. I've had this sheet produced in 1977 for a long time. Even though the art is quite poor I've always quite liked it - sadly the selvedge was damaged so I retained the name but got rid of the rest:

There is already a page for Davaar under local posts. I have most of those Kings and Queens stamps but still need a couple more to complete.

I don’t think Davaar was conned Pete. brightonpete There,s nobody lives on Davaar to be conned. The con operated on the collector who paid good money for these labels in the first place. As a Scot I am saddened that many of our little islands have been used by Speculators like Feigenbaum and others to make a small but dubious fortune . However if folk want these , they are welcome to collect as they wish , I only hope they do so because they like the topics and as long as they are aware of what the labels are, just labels, and not postage stamps.

For crying out loud I thought this was a friendly site, getting sick to death of these stupid comments on postings if this keeps up I will delete all my pics on here and leave this site.
