So I decided to sort some Blacks
I having a hard time working out the intials of this one.
The right hand letter is it a E or a F maybe a D I did a little work on retroreveal Problem is it looks like some of the cancling ink got splattered Here is a close up Maybe its a L L ?

Thought these might help. Yours looks like the serif in the "F".

To me, it looks as if it's E. Perhaps F.

I think the stamp is lettered LF ....
If this is right I am fairly sure its from Plate 5

Allan Thanks for identifying the plate . I have only started the study of early GB line engravings and value your opinion. I have read many of your articles in the past.
I used this method. First I looked up the Nissen plate images. They are not the best of quality ( one day I will purchase after I make the last house payment) www.spink.com/nissen-reconstructions.aspx . Then I paste a copy of my stamp under each, this help to narrow down Below is an example of the image I made to help id the stamp, I was strongly leaning towards plate 5.
Maybe we should start a tutorial thread about plating, I being a new student to this discipline would very much like to have a mentor as yourself help us beginners.

I will start a thread and show how I break the plates down into groups when I am at stamp fairs etc Others can then add observations, ask questions etc and it will develop naturally Allan
