Bought UEFA Ukraine stamps released in 2012. These things are hideously overpriced. But with the current exchange rate, I decided to grab them. All the stamps, along with shipping came to about $32.

The price we pay for our hobby In my local conversion rate, I value these at 6 meat pies, or 2 good meals. not too bad, depends on what numbers they were issued in for a price to stabilise. Kudos to you, not many collectors add shipping to their broadcast cost. Nice stamps, thanks for showing.

What irks me is that the face value of the bottom left stamp is ₴62.55. But UKRPOSHTA is selling the stamp for ₴360. poshta.kiev.ua/nishop.php?act=shcomm&gid=22&id=403837At the current conversion rate that would be US$17.54 or AU$22.27. Not a hideous amount. But at the time the stamp came out, the conversion rate was ₴8.00 to the US Dollar, making the stamp cost US$45. If they're going to charge ₴360 for a stamp, it should have face value of ₴360. The stamp on the upper right, they're selling for ₴300, with a face value of ₴41.40

Obviously Ukraine Post, are retaining stocks, and selling with inflation.
It begs the question, what Australia does with her excess printings, I know they are valid for sale over a given time, but after that?
Possibly another avenue for you, is to find a Ukraine dealer, that keeps a stock inventory, and to which you may be able to purchase at discount. Dealers like to keep their stock moving.

That was actually the price they sold them for on day of release. I bet they had booths set up at the various stadiums to sell these things to tourists.
