So the missus and I are heading to Chicago the last week in July for a weeks stay. Our first real adult vacation since our honeymoon (no kids or inlaws!) She's already told me I should expect at least one afternoon apart to do what we want (I don't want to think what she may have in mind!). I like to peruse antique shops and such, but any good stamp shops you folks can recommend? I see several on the map.

Maybe zipper will pipe in and tell you all about where to go, seeing as she lives in the windy city.

There's one in a western suburb, but I don't know of any in the city. Other than Marshall Field's all those years ago, I've never been in a stamp store
The Wendella Boat Architectural tour is cool. It goes on the Chicago River onto Lake Michigan, pointing out all the high rises. You're sitting low on a big boat, surrounded by huge buildings.
