In the Scott catalog, France 475,476,476A...476G(9Oct1944). You are missing the 10 franc stamp (#476H), which unfortunately is the main premium item in the set. The stamps were printed by US BEP and transferred to the Free French for distribution/use.

Thank you so much! I probably spent so much time looking in BoB that I missed the obvious in the 'normal' part.

The design certainly is typical of a French BoB, so if I didn't know, I likely would have started looking through BoB first too!

What I collect: If I have a catalogue for it, I collect it. And I have many catalogues ....

The design certainly is typical of a French BoB, so if I didn't know, I likely would have started looking through BoB first too! My catalogue is too old! In the 2008 Scott, these stamps are Back of the Book issues, listed with the occupation stamps - "Issued Jointly by the Allied Military Government of the United States and Great Britain, for Civilian Use", #2N1-2N9 shown above. I hadn't realized they were moved to the regular issue section. I wonder what other surprises are in store for me once I upgrade my catalogues .... Ryan

They actually moved them over from BoB to the main listings in 2009.
For your info, they also moved 2N11-2N20 to 523A-523J.
I wish Scott would maintain a list of all the number changes over the years. I've gotten in a habit now of making a copy of each NADC page to keep as reference, but I didn't do that for my older catalogs (and I don't get a new catalog every year).
