For no other reason than they looked pretty good. A small collection of covers, mostly with admirals, all paying war tax. 
 Five are sent to the US. The rate was 2¢ plus 1¢ war tax. The tax, as we've heard, was removed in 1926 only to be reinstated in 1931. The domestic rate on the cover to Woodslee ONT was the same 2+1¢. The 1933 cover to Michigan wears a lovely Christmas seal on the reverse

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50
