Here is a Great Britain 1862 4d with a Malta cancel: Looks to me to be a Plate 3, yes? If I'm reading Gibbons correctly, that would make it Malta #Z48, I believe. Anyone have a different opinion? The underlying stamp comes in bright red and pale red, SG79 and SG80, respectively.

The underlying stamp comes in bright red and pale red, SG79 and SG80, respectively. May we request full identification, please? Wmk? Established Perforation? ID Process: Small white corner letters = 4d red (looks vermilion to me) SG79 August 1862 P14 Wmk Large Garter Wmk17 (SG) Plate 3= No hair lines, roman figure 1 adjacent lower corner letters (looks like 3 dots to me) That leaves SG 79 Bright red or SG80 pale red So yes has to be Z48 plate 3 (choose your colour)
