The above is a trial color essay - blank stripe & no values The issued stamps have a value in the bottom left square up to I believe 5Fr Sanabria lists them as semi-officials They are generally perfed & overprints exist. They command a fair value The essays appear to be plentiful

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

A visit to my France collection this evening I came across a few Cinderellas that I have not seen on the French threads. This 1912 one may have been a proof. EDIT: Thanks to daniel for providing the following description of this item: 'The First French Airmail Stamp' (semi-official) for the Nancy-Luneville Flight of 1912.

A very nice Cinderella, described as 'The First French Airmail Stamp' (semi-official) for the Nancy-Luneville Flight of 1912. See this article here and this pdf (page 5 onwards) here.

Farman Airlines, 4 Rue Edouard VII, Paris Technically, this large item may well be a window sticker although it is gummed on the reverse. For £2, this was a steal.
Three brothers, Richard, Henri and Maurice Farman designed and constructed aircraft and engines from 1908 to 1936. They also operated their own airline until it was ultimately absorbed into Air France.
This poster stamp was designed by Albert Salon who designed all of their posters and timetables. Probably 1920s or 1930s.
