I did not notice any Russia/Cinderella thread - so pls. move this if required I have a few sets of these to post The issue was apparently produced by Italian businessman Marco Fontana. Drawings are in the Art Nouveau style. Stamps were put on sale by the Partnership of Italian philately (Venice). Sets of these are plentiful and usually $5-$10, most tend to be badly off center. These were possibly in aid of the 1921 famine in the Ukraine and are sometimes referred to as the Odessa Pomgol «Помгол» stamps The Pomgol was initially a private citizen group formed for aid relief. The Government had issues with this, shut it down and replaced it with its own "bureaucracy"        The Pomgol made 2 notable directives 1. The "request" that Orthodox Church valuables be acquired for aid relief?? 2. The establishment of a nation wide lottery for relief funds  Lottery Ticket |

What I collect: Worldwide USED up to the 1960's, later years from countries that came into existence after then, like Anguilla, Tuvalu and Transnistria.

“Tezhe” is the “State Association (Trust) of Factories of the Fat and Bone Processing Industry (Fattiness) and Hygiene”, which produced washing powders, soaps, tooth powders and pastes, and various hygiene products.
