Stamp Album by the American Oil Company. The stamps that are made for it show different events in Early American history, and they are rather large in size. Very nice stamps/cinderellas actually. I think the majority of the albums are found with the stamps licked and attached to the pages. My stamps are loose, but many are stuck together by the heavy duty glue on the backs. Because of this, I've never done anything with it, and it still sits in a drawer. My preference would be to simply soak all the gum off the stamps and hinge them in the album. But because it's a collectible of a different nature, I've left the problem for a future owner.  |

I also have this small Nestle comic book for stamp collectors. It's a nice little item to have hanging around.  In my postcard collection, I have a couple old Hershey postcards. They are the right shape and size to have fit into a chocolate bar wrapper, so I am thinking that is how they were distributed. Someday I will scan them, and post here. I will also scan a small postcard, that I think may have been folded in half to be distributed in cigarette packs. |
