I am suspicious about the imperforated stamps: they are to nicely cut to be real. 16,32 and 53 Centesimi the overprint looks to be dark blue instead of black.

Knowing Falschung, I would not worry about the imperfs. They look trimmed in Photoshop or some other program.

For inquiring minds The blue overprints are found on proofs which I included for diversity - can be found in the ANK below BC is correct - I am particularly "fussy" about the appearance of my scans so I trim imperfs for best visual effect in posts and my articles Any I sold or sell show their true features As for cataloging Austria Michel Austria Specialized Catalog is the standard generally used but lacking in areas that the ANK covers Austria Netto Katalog (ANK) – is published in Austria and comparable in detail to the Michel Austria Specialized catalog. This catalog lists many specialty areas not included in other catalogs such as essays, proofs , rocket mail etc... It is also considered to have the more realistic market values of issues Ferchenbauer Handbook of Austria 1850-1864By far the most complete for the period but about $300 - 2000 pages dedicated to that period Several very specific catalogs by Edwin Mueller For anyone interested - VaccariOne of the excellent places to get special catalogs at reasonable prices - including used ones Click on the English flag top right to switch to English Now back to other projects - I have a lot of material I will put out in a few weeks

As for cataloging Austria.... Also, the fine Gindl specialized catalogues for plate flaws for those who like flyspecking. Here's an example page from the catalogue for the women's dress definitive series. Ryan

A Feldpost card sent in January 1917 by a soldier in the K.u.K 11th Infantry Regiment to a family member, possibly daughter or sister in Zweisel,Germany. This regiment was made up of Bohemian conscripts and was fighting in Italy. There is a cancellation from Feldpost 391,used by the 28th Infantry ,also in Italy. The card also has a censor marking from Triest. Thanks to Alex vikingeck for answering a few questions regarding this card.
