Ephemera really. This 'First Day Cover' was created by Cerns & Chafe 'Satirical Commemoratives' in Ottawa, 1978.
Really too new for my collecting interests, and I don't normally go for FDCs, but I have to admit, this one made me laugh.
The gentleman on the 'stamp' is Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau, father of our current hunky PM, Justin.
