I am retired Army and restarted my stamp collecting when I retired in 1988. I collect used U.S. singles and blocks. I also have mint commemorative blocks and plate blocks, but used is my main interest. My collection of those items is at the point, that unless I win the lottery I will not be able to fill many more vacant spaces. Because of that, I have branched out to Great Britain, Germany and Canada. I look forward to learning from the more advanced collectors and just enjoying the company of stamp enthusiast.

Mel,
Welcome to the Forum!
I think you'll find many here with similar interests and we have a number of advanced collectors in each of the areas that you've branched into.
Feel free to jump into any of the ongoing discussions and share some of your collection with us (many of us like to see images of stamps).

Welcome, Mel. A friendlier group you will not find. When you are stuck in the AC (and you will be soon), nothing better than playing with stamps and interacting with fellow collectors (at least for this old Texas ex-patriot).

Thanks for all the welcomes. I hope I can contribute in some small way. Will try to show some of my collection when I become more familiar with the system.
And as bobby1948 says, I will be glad when I can be stuck in the AC, I am tired of cold weather, which by the way keeps me indoors also.
