Today's mail brought me a copy of the Perfin catalog published by the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Lochungen e.V. im BDPh (Perfin Study Group of the German Stamp Society).
If anyone has any German perfins they'd like me to look-up, just post them here.

Beryllium Guy is proposing me the following four German perfin stamps for trade: I will likely take them, but we would both love to know more about them!

Another proof of how great this place is!

brightonpete, Can you post the front sides as well? The same perfins were often used by different companies, and the only way to distinguish them is the date/location of use.

"H.&N." on the left and "K. Z." on the right. I have no idea which variety of Germania these are! Sorry... Unknown on the left & "SP" on the right.

Hello, I'm trying to get more information on some old German stamps from the early 1920's. I'm especially interested in the one that has what looks like a center cent mark. I couldn't find any information on them. Perhaps you can help? It would be appreciated. image upload

Don't have any particular information on them, just wanted to say it's cool that a relative newbie is already collecting perfins. Keep posting!

I wonder how the GHH came up with that perfin style. I also appreciate the lead on KN.
You've been extremely helpful. Thank you so much!

It's been almost a year since I worked on my German perfins and the information from this forum was extremely helpful then. I have another early German stamp whose perfin I am trying to identify. It's a 1905 -11 Germania 10pfg (diamond watermark covering entire stamp). Would anyone know what the A T designation is for? I couldn't find a reference anywhere. I then thought it might be reversed and really T A, but I wasn't sure. Would anyone happen to know?

Also received in this week's order, this perfin stamp, from the 1928 famous Germans set, 80-pgf violet-brown, with the perforations spelling out "POL":

susiecc, The AT perfin is from an unknown company in Münstereifel, 1901-1916. hrdoktorx, The POL perfin is a police perfin. It's impossible to say exactly which city it's from as many used very similar perfins.

More German perfins from the collections I have been going through. I am only realizing now that one of them I have upside down in the second, back of stamp scan.
