[Post made by former member @uminchu]I found a lot of US Scott 720, 721, 722. While sorting through the lot I came across these 2 interesting stamps. This appears to be imperforate. I first thought it was cut from envelope, but under close examination the postmark ink shows it was cut before being put on envelope. Also the margins seem very large. I thought this to be a pair from a booklet, but again cut along top margin. Any thoughts??? Thank you

The uneven nature of the cuts at top and right on the single and at top on the pair make me think that both are scissors cut from booklet panes (Scott 720b).

Yes, that is my suspicion also, but compared to other 720b's the margins are pretty excessive.
